The project:
As a final project for my last year at University, I had to create a Festival with the theme I wanted and think of a concept for it that will rule all my designs. This is a complex visual identity where the name, the program, the color palette, the images, even the place where I chose to do it talk about the festival and its concept.
Therefore I chose as a theme for my festival the Video Jockey worlds. The concept was based on interconnection between both visual and sound worlds. The big challenge here was to represent the multiplicity and overlapping of feelings and diversity of interpretations.
About the festival...
The festival is for a young and enthusiastic audience related to the Art, Music, Design, and New media field. The festival will take place in the Malba, a Famous and contemporary museum in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The main event “_Rew” will be divided into 4 days inviting the audience to be part of different performances, concerts, exhibitions, and workshops. The target audience would be people around 20-35 years, experts or beginners. This festival will offer their audience a variety of events which they can choose depending on their interest and expertise level.
About the Visual Style
Rew is a dynamic and versatile festival, where people can choose which Workshop, Lecture, or Performance to go. The dynamic, diversity and superposition of elements in the composition try to transmit and represent the spirit of the event. The Saturated color palette as well connects with this free spirit, young and dynamic and variable feeling.
